Exodus i boska androgynia. O inicjacyjnym wygnaniu i powrotach w dramacie „Eros i Psyche” Jerzego Żuławskiego

The article is an attempt to read the meanings of a work on a plane constituted in the sphere of sacrum. The starting point of the conducted analysis is the presentation of a specific eschatological mythology which Jerzy Żuławski performs in his work. Through the issues of history, time, anamnesis and cosmogony, the author of “Eros and Psyche” presents a common desire to regain the irretrievably lost ideal order of existence (renovatio). In addition to the soteriological hope expressed in the end of the drama, it is also important to discover an even deeper longing that governs the sphere of human imagination. It is the divine androgynity that reflects the idea of perfect unity.Artykuł jest próbą odczytania sensów utworu na płaszczyźnie ukonstytuowanej w sferze sacrum. Punktem wyjścia prowadzonych analiz jest ukazanie swoistej mityzacji eschatologicznej, jakiej dokonuje w swoim dziele Jerzy Żuławski. Poprzez zagadnienia historii, czasu, anamnezy i kosmogonii autor Erosa i Psyche przedstawia powszechne pragnienie odzyskania bezpowrotnie utraconego idealnego porządku istnienia (renovatio). Obok soteriologicznej nadziei wyrażonej w zakończeniu dramatu istotne jest także odkrycie jeszcze głębszej tęsknoty, która rządzi sferą ludzkiej wyobraźni.
